Lilydolls are back!

I have just found out that Lilydolls are back in production (they have been discontinued by US distributors since early 2005 and discontinued altogether by late 2006). Three new dolls, and three new outfits will debut sometime this Spring!

I can't find them in the Manhattan Toy Europe or US website yet, but this vendor has them up on the site already.

Midnight Mod, and Lilydoll toes

Here is the Fiona doll, wearing Midnight Mod with glasses from Added Pizazz



I don't know if it is clear from this picture, but I have added toes to her. Lilydolls come with a solid toeless foot but it is easy to add 4 little lines of stitching with matching thread. Make the first toe just on, or to the inside of the dart on top of the foot, and then 3 more lines slightly closer together. When we get our new doll for 2006, I will post pictures of how I do it and hide the thread.
